Program Summary:

Every organization has donors who give $500 or $1,000. Come learn how to build a program that grows and retains these givers. Learn how to maximize giving in 6 months. Grow a program in a one-person shop or on a team of 25 people.

In this session, you will learn:

  • Using a mid-level program to qualify and find top level donors
  • Changing an internal culture to engage donors for any size organization
  • Scaling mid-level work for any size organization

Speaker:

Jason Dick, Senior Director of Donor Relations, CRISTA Ministries

Jason leads a team of Mid-level and Major Gifts fundraisers at CRISTA Ministries. Jason’s team raises money with the intention of moving people from poverty into abundance of life around the world through World Concern, providing summer camps and group retreats through CRISTA Camps, creating community and providing healthcare for seniors through CRISTA Senior Living, and providing hope and encouragement through uplifting music through CRISTA Media.

Jason loves meeting and encouraging new and old fundraisers. He believes that there is an exciting career to be had in fundraising and wants to encourage those who are new to the profession. If you have questions, need encouragement in your work, want to “talk shop”, or think through a new idea Jason would love to connect. He serves on the Advancement Northwest Board helping with the Membership Committee. Another hat he wears involves serving as a Commissioner for the Redmond Human Services Commission helping nonprofits in his city.
